Creating a Safe Society
Sustainability is an essential part of our business strategy, and our strong commitment to sustainable development is embodied in our vision: 'Creating a Safe Society.’
Our long-term goal is to offer services and products that enhance safety and security across all areas of society – without compromising the health of our planet. We contribute positively to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, which focuses on making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
For over a century, we have been safeguarding communities. Now, we are looking ahead, and our ambition is clear: To be a pioneer in 360-degree security, becoming an industry champion in the sustainable transition, and we are confident that we can achieve this together with our customers, suppliers and partners.
Our vision drives us and permeates our sustainability strategy titled ‘Securing Our Future,' reflecting our commitment to a safer tomorrow.
”At Garda Group our vision is to create a safe society, and we take pride in securing a wide range of clients, each essential to the functioning of our daily life, including critical infrastructure, military, datacenters, airports, healthcare, and a range of public and private organizations.
We are committed to sustainability and safety across all operations and in our value chain, ensuring the highest standards of corporate responsibility and our long-standing dedication to ethical business practices is reflected in our policies, partnerships, and continuous development efforts.”

Governance, documentation and policies
Sustainability is a core responsibility embedded at every level of our organization.
The Board of Directors and the Management lead these efforts, ensuring that ESG priorities are integrated across all business operations. However, responsibility for sustainable practices lies not only at the top, but extends to every department and employee, fostering a culture of togetherness and shared commitment to sustainable growth. ESG initiatives are a central part of our operations, driving our mission to create lasting positive impact.
At Garda Group, we maintain a range of policies and procedures related to QHSE, procurement, ethical business, and sustainability.
Our policies are the backbone of our organizational structure and culture.
Engagement, safety and well-being of each employee
Sustainability goes beyond environmental impact—it is also about building a thriving, inclusive workplace where every employee feels valued and empowered. Openness and safety is at the heart of our operations, ensuring that we foster a culture where everyone thrives and succeeds.
We believe a diverse workforce is key to driving innovation, creativity, and growth. By fostering an environment that values different perspectives, we unlock our team's full potential. Employee training plays a crucial role in this, enabling each individual to grow and achieve new goals.
As an extension of our commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and responsible workplace, we aim to be Great Place to Work certified.
Naturally, a thriving workplace in our industry requires a heavy focus on safety. We are committed to reducing workplace accidents through the implementation of rigorous safety protocols and procedures. All our companies are already – or has begun the process of becoming – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified. Some companies are also ISO 27001 certified with more companies pending. These ISO certifications underscore our dedication to environmental management and occupational health and safety, ensuring a safe environment for our employees.
