Monitoring of Testing Equipment at COVID-19 Testing Centers in the Capital
Getting tested for COVID-19 is something most of us Danes are familiar with by now.
Thousands of daily swabs and quick tests require equipment in abundance. Equipment that needs to be protected and monitored so that testing centers can continue to test citizens and contribute to reducing the spread of infection.
Copenhagen Medical has two private testing centers in Bella Center and Parken in Copenhagen, which were set up very quickly after the government's sudden announcements. Therefore, the installation of surveillance had to be swift, so Copenhagen Medical allied with Volt, who supplies power banks for festivals.
Following a recommendation, Operation Manager at Volt, Mikkel Hjortebjerg Harpsøe, contacted Mobilsikring, enabling us to install mobile surveillance cameras at the testing centers.

The sudden announcement of private testing centers required a fast but proper setup. It needed to happen quickly, and shortly after Mikkel Harpsøe contacted Mobilsikring, everything was ready to go on December 23rd.

Why Mobile Surveillance?
The testing equipment is stored at the testing centers. The challenge with this type of storage is the function of the halls and the constant flow of both citizens and employees coming and going.
Therefore, it was a logical solution to have mobile surveillance installed so that the areas are constantly under observation. Because the surveillance is mobile, it's an ideal solution for testing centers, which are (hopefully) only intended for temporary use and can therefore be quickly dismantled.
